Material found here pertains to any medieval subject that has either been used in Bardic Competition, or was designed for that purpose. It is assumed to be original. Period pieces are found in a separate folder.
STORIES - submitted prose for Bardic use, or general amusement. These ideally
should be short enough to present in under 3 minutes, but this is not a restriction. If based on culturally based myths or stories, proper notation should be made.
POEMS - short, focused pieces that generally would not be considered prose, and are best presented in
lyric form. The focus can be any subject.
SONGS - similar to POEMS, but lend themselves to
singing. Filks should be so noted.
COPYRIGHT - all materials submitted for inclusion here grant automatic right for all members to use and selection for entertainment or teaching purposes, as long as proper credit is given. Any use for commercial or publishing purposes must receive specific written permission from the author. Out of courtesy, these materials should not be used in Bardic or other Competitions without notifying the author. |
