Material found here pertains to any medieval subject that has either been used in Bardic Competition, or was designed for that purpose.  It is assumed to be original. Period pieces are found in a separate folder.

 

STORIES - submitted prose for  Bardic use, or general amusement.  These ideally should be short enough to present in under 3 minutes, but this is not a restriction.  If based on culturally based myths or stories, proper notation should be made.

POEMS - short, focused pieces that generally would not be considered prose, and are best presented in lyric form.  The focus can be any subject.

SONGS - similar to POEMS, but lend themselves to singing.  Filks should be so noted.
